From Cambridge, it will be visible in the dawn sky, rising at 02:19 (EDT) – 3 hours and 54 minutes before the Sun – and reaching an altitude of 28° above the south-eastern horizon before fading from view as dawn breaks around 05:06.
Based on the absolute magnitude published for this comet by the British Astronomical Association's Comet Section, we estimate that it may reach a peak brightness of around mag 8.
This comet is not expected to be visible to the naked eye, but might be visible through bird-watching binoculars.
