From South El Monte , NGC2281 is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 18:22 (PST), 47° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 21:54, 82° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 03:59, when it sinks below 20° above your north-western horizon.
