From South El Monte , Barnard 171 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 17:58 (PST), 62° above your northern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 19:02, 65° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 01:59, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
