From South El Monte , Markarian 500 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 21:17 (PDT), 68° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 22:43, 75° above your northern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight at around 04:32, 27° above your north-western horizon.
