From South El Monte , Markarian 9 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 18:40 (PST), 53° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 21:20, 65° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 04:16, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
