From South El Monte , Markarian 9 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 18:28 (PST), 45° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 22:15, 65° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 05:11, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
