From Cambridge , NGC5497 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 20:17 (EDT), 25° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 02:15, 86° above your southern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight at around 05:16, 55° above your western horizon.
