From Cambridge , NGC5731 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 20:19 (EDT), 24° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 02:41, 89° above your northern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight at around 05:14, 61° above your western horizon.
