From South El Monte , MX-Per is difficult to observe as it will appear no higher than 19° above the horizon. It is visible in the dawn sky, rising at 01:38 (PDT) and reaching an altitude of 19° above the north-eastern horizon before fading from view as dawn breaks at around 04:26.
