From South El Monte , η-Sgr is difficult to observe as it will appear no higher than 19° above the horizon. It is visible in the morning sky, becoming accessible around 03:07, when it reaches an altitude of 16° above your southern horizon. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 04:36, 19° above your southern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight around 05:01, 18° above your southern horizon.
