From Jacksonville , Collinder 173 is difficult to observe as it will appear no higher than 13° above the horizon. It is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 20:15 (EDT), 13° above your southern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 20:43, 13° above your southern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 22:02, when it sinks below 11° above your southern horizon.
