From South El Monte , Barnard 49 is visible between 21:20 and 22:42. It will become accessible at around 21:20, when it rises to an altitude of 21° above your southern horizon. It will reach its highest point in the sky at 22:01, 22° above your southern horizon. It will become inaccessible at around 22:42 when it sinks below 21° above your southern horizon.
