From South El Monte , Orion's Belt is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 18:20 (PST), 54° above your southern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 18:40, 54° above your southern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 23:43, when it sinks below 11° above your western horizon.
