R/B-band color composite image from the Second Digitized Sky Survey (DSS2), measuring 30 arcminutes across.
From South El Monte , IC1547 is visible from soon after it rises, at 06:19, until soon before it sets at 20:36. Always take extreme caution when trying to make daytime observations of the Moon while the Sun is above the horizon.
