NGC2471 (Double star)

From Columbus , NGC2471 will become visible at around 21:42 (EDT), 55° above your north-western horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then sink towards the horizon, becoming tricky to observe after 02:08 when it dips 21° above your north-western horizon.
