From South El Monte , NGC4956 is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 21:08 (PDT), 88° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 21:13, 88° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 02:56, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
