From South El Monte , NGC956 is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 17:48 (PST), 55° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 20:40, 79° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 02:47, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
