From South El Monte , Sharpless 142 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 19:09 (PDT), 55° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 21:36, 65° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 04:29, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
