From South El Monte , ζ-Her is difficult to observe as it will appear no higher than 19° above the horizon. It is visible in the dawn sky, rising at 03:48 (PST) – 2 hours and 53 minutes before the Sun – and reaching an altitude of 19° above the north-eastern horizon before fading from view as dawn breaks at around 05:44.
