Special General Meeting, 2004 March 31

held at The Geological Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1

Mr Boles welcomed members to the 2004 SGM, and invited Dr Hewitt to read the minutes of the previous year's meeting. These were duly approved. Mr David Tucker, Treasurer, reported that the accounts had been healthy in the previous session, and that Council consequently proposed that there should be no increase in subscription rates for the following session. This proposal was seconded, and, receiving enthusiastic support and applause from members, was passed nem con. There being no further business, the President adjourned the meeting until the following year, and the fifth Ordinary Meeting of the session followed.
