From South El Monte , M39 is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 19:03 (PDT), 72° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 19:57, 75° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 02:34, when it sinks below 19° above your north-western horizon.
