From Fairfield , the Alpha Persei Cluster is difficult to observe as it will appear no higher than 15° above the horizon. It is visible in the dawn sky, rising at 00:48 (EDT) and reaching an altitude of 15° above the north-eastern horizon before fading from view as dawn breaks at around 04:42.
