The Tulip Nebula (Sharpless 101)

From South El Monte , the Tulip Nebula is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 19:54 (PDT), 75° above your eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 21:02, 88° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 02:45, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
