From South El Monte , NGC146 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 18:59 (PDT), 45° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 22:38, 60° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 04:57, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
