From South El Monte , ι-Cen is difficult to observe as it will appear no higher than 15° above the horizon. It will become visible at around 21:08 (PDT), 15° above your southern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then sink towards the horizon, setting 3 hours and 27 minutes after the Sun at 23:34.
