From South El Monte , Markarian 379 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 19:58 (PDT), 60° above your northern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 20:35, 60° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 03:55, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
