From South El Monte , NGC5 is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 17:48 (PST), 84° above your eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 18:16, 88° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 23:58, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
