From South El Monte , Shakhbazian 51 is visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 20:18 (PDT), 66° above your eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 22:12, 84° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 04:05, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
