From South El Monte , Sharpless 148 is visible all night. It will become visible at around 19:15 (PDT), 52° above your north-eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 22:04, 65° above your northern horizon. It will continue to be observable until around 04:59, when it sinks below 21° above your north-western horizon.
