Jupiter and Uranus will share the same right ascension, with Jupiter passing 26' to the north of Uranus.
At around the same time, the two objects will also make a close approach, technically called an appulse.
From Jacksonville , the pair will become visible at around 20:19 (EDT), 24° above your south-western horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. They will then sink towards the horizon, setting 3 hours and 18 minutes after the Sun at 22:40.
Jupiter will be at mag -2.0, and Uranus at mag 5.7, both in the constellation Scorpius.
The pair will be close enough to fit within the field of view of a telescope, but will also be visible through a pair of binoculars.
