The globular cluster M2 (NGC 7089; mag 6.5) in Aquarius will be well placed, high in the sky. It will reach its highest point in the sky at around midnight local time.

At a declination of -00°49', it is visible across much of the world; it can be seen at latitudes between 69°N and 70°S.

From Cambridge, it will be visible all night. It will become visible around 21:01 (EDT) as the dusk sky fades, 24° above your south-eastern horizon. It will then reach its highest point in the sky at 00:45, 46° above your southern horizon. It will be lost to dawn twilight around 04:39, 22° above your south-western horizon.
