Uranus and 1 Ceres will share the same right ascension, with Uranus passing 8°50' to the north of 1 Ceres.

From Cambridge , the pair will become visible at around 17:45 (EDT), 35° above your south-western horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. They will then sink towards the horizon, setting at 21:51.

Uranus will be at mag 5.9 in the constellation Pisces, and 1 Ceres at mag 9.1 in the neighbouring constellation of Cetus.
