The Moon and Mars will make a close approach, passing within 4°35' of each other. The Moon will be 4 days old.

From Cambridge, the pair will become visible around 19:33 (EDT) as the dusk sky fades, 39° above your western horizon. They will then sink towards the horizon, setting at 23:19.
